Aflorya ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed and operated by Honest Dev LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
If you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay address). This is stored locally on your device and is used solely to identify your account.
1.2 Survey & Preference Data
When you set up Aflorya, you complete a short survey selecting your affirmation categories (e.g., confidence, gratitude, self-love), preferred tone, and optionally your name. This data is stored locally on your device and is used to personalize your affirmations.
1.3 AI-Generated Content
We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized affirmations. Your survey responses (selected categories, tone preference, and name if provided) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate content. No personal health data is shared. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not use API inputs to train their models.
1.4 Mood & Usage Data
Your mood entries, achievement badges, streaks, and affirmation history are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server.
1.5 User Preferences
Your app preferences (notification settings, widget configuration, display preferences) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Affirmation generation: To generate personalized affirmations tailored to your preferences via the Anthropic Claude API.
- Mood tracking: To display your mood history and emotional growth over time.
- Achievements: To track and award badges for your affirmation practice milestones.
- Notifications: To send local notifications with your daily affirmations at your preferred time.
- Widgets: To display your current affirmation on your home screen.
- Subscription management: To verify your subscription status via RevenueCat (see Section 4).
3. How We Store Your Data
All your data is stored locally on your device. Aflorya does not operate any backend servers or cloud databases. Your mood entries, preferences, and affirmation history are saved to your device's local storage using standard iOS file storage and UserDefaults.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.

We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or data brokers. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party.
5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Aflorya offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Monthly: $6.99/month
- Annual: $34.99/year
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
6. Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption, app sandboxing, and Keychain for sensitive credentials. Since all personal data is stored locally, there is no network transmission of your personal data beyond what is described in Section 1.3.
7. Your Rights
- Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
- Deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
- Revoke Sign in with Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple.
8. Children's Privacy
Aflorya is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
